Although I was hoping for a retina display on the iPad 2, just like the iPhone 4. We’ll have to wait for the iPad 3. Read the rest of this entry »

The video may be as short as 15 seconds although a 30 second clip would be more likely. Read the rest of this entry »

postheadericon Does promotional web video really work?

Should we get a promotional web video?

Does promotional web video really work?Frankly, I think the question of whether or not you should get a promotional web video for your small business or corporate needs has already been answered. Back in 2006, we spent a significant amount of time explaining the benefits of web video and why businesses should post them to their websites. Today, web visitors are consuming online video in record amounts and numbers are rising. There is plenty of research and data available on the Internet about online business video uses and the results web video productions can produce.

The question really should be:  How effectively can corporate videos and promotional web videos communicate your message or business mission? How successful is web video when it is used by your marketing and sales department to persuade clients to consider your products and services? Read the rest of this entry »

postheadericon Adding Another Candle To The Birthday Cake – Time For Perspective

Adding Another Candle To The Birthday Cake - Time For PerspectiveAs I am reviewing some blog ideas, I felt a slightly different type of blog topic coming on. While working on the computer, contemplating business ideas and reading about the latest video marketing strategies – it occurred to me: If I made a billion dollars this year but  the 20 or 30 most important personal and business relationships would suddenly vanish, I would be utterly miserable. I paused to ponder this thought for a few moments and it made me re-contexualize how I viewed work in that moment. Sure we need to make a living, and as business owners we are concerned with ROI, budgets, sales, etc. But perhaps this is a good day to step back and look at the big picture.
