No. The completed video is available online or in your DVD library as long as you like. We keep a backup of the completed video only. Due to the enormous space requirements of digital HD video and editing files, we only keep the completed video file. We archive the entire post production project for up to 12 months. If you need the entire project archived for more than 12 months then we can make arrangements for that to happen at an additional charge.
Once you have approved the final version of the video we will invoice you for the final payment. When payment is received, we will send you a link to the video file. You may then download the video file. If the video is hosted on YouTube or Vimeo then you may play, email, and share the video immediately. In some cases we deliver or mail the video on DVD.
Most of the videos we create are filmed at the location of your business, school, or performing arts venue. In some cases, we rent space if the video shoot requires it.
No problem. We can assist you in setting up your own YouTube channel or you may host your video on our YouTube channel. There are also other video hosting options such as Vimeo. We’ll be happy to review the advantages and disadvantages of each option as part the video services you purchased from eTown Videos.
The delivery times vary depending on the type of video services you purchased. Some basic videography services may take a day for filming and 2-3 weeks for final DVD or web delivery. However, larger projects which include scripts, storyboards, filming, voice-over narration, or extensive post production editing could take 1-4 months. A well produced video is worth the wait.
There is no charge for the initial consultation about your video project.
If creating a video appears somewhat intimidating at first, don’t worry we can help. During the initial conversation we talk about your video idea and together we will develop a basic concept. Once we have a general direction and goal for your project we will present you with a custom video production proposal. After you have reviewed the proposal you may decide how or when you’d like to proceed.
Contact us and tell us a little about your upcoming event or performance, and we will send you a video production or videographer quote. Depending on the scope of your project we charge by the hour or on a per project basis.
Videography refers to the filming of live events such as dance recitals, concerts, sales meetings, awards ceremonies, and some training videos. In other words, scripts or storyboards are usually not required. However, in many cases some video editing may be done after the filming.
A video production typically is created from scratch. Professional video production services may include set design, script & storyboard development, professional voice-over narration, video editing, animation, motion graphics, and background music. The completed video productions may include training videos, live event filming (corporate meetings, dance performances) and video visual effects.
Pretty much any type of video you can imagine. However, here are some of most common video productions we have created: Small business profile videos, testimonial videos, marketing videos, training videos, trade show videos, YouTube & Vimeo videos, promotional videos, corporate videos, live event videos, fundraiser videos and other crowd-funding videos.
